Born in New York City, Christian moved to Nashville in 1976. Christian's passion for cattle derives partly from his love of
horses. He is one of the top rated amateur horse show jumping
riders in the United States. He has competed as a member of the
United States Equestrian Team all over the world. His great grandfather
was one of the first importers of Black Angus; consequently,
it is not unusual that his instincts for the cattle business
come so naturally. Christian graduated in 1984 with a Bachelor
in History from Vanderbilt University. After a brief stint in
the real estate business in New York, he returned to his family's
farm in Tennessee and founded Currey Cattle Company. Besides
being the sole stockholder, he is involved in every aspect of
the business. Not only does Christian sell cattle, but he feeds
several thousand head a year. He keeps abreast of the commodities
market and is an active trader in agriculture futures.

David coordinates our livestock-buying program, recruiting the
top buyers in our area. David has been associated with Currey
Cattle's management since it's inception. Being in the industry
for over twenty-five years, he is one of the most respected cattlemen
in Tennessee. David is a second-generation cattleman and brings
years of experience to our Company. Not only does he purchase
cattle for us, he also has quite an impressive customer base
stretching from Tennessee to Wyoming. His knowledge of both grazing
programs and cow/calf operations has proven to be an asset to
Currey Cattle as well as to his customers. David also is a cattle
consultant to local farmers and assists in appraising cattle
estates.

Born and raised on a cattle, sugarcane
and grain farm in Burnside, LA., Boyd has an extensive background
in cow/calf herd management, replacement heifers, and pre-conditioning.
Boyd earned his Bachelor of Arts in 1986 from Louisiana State
University. He joined Currey Cattle Company in April 1997 and
is still an active participant in the Louisiana Farm Bureau Young
Farmers and Ranchers program.

A.P. was born and raised on a Holstein calf-feeding farm in Central VA. A.P graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor in Finance from Virginia Tech. A.P. has widespread knowledge of the cattle business and the economics that affect our customer’s bottom line. A.P. came on with Currey Cattle in 2004. He moved to Tennessee in 2007 to further develop sales and provide customer retention from our headquarters in Franklin, TN. A.P. continuously buys and sells load lots of country cattle.
