Currey
Cattle firmly believes in implementing a health program for the
cattle both at the receiving barn and at their final destination.
The implementation of a health plan immediately upon arrival
at Currey Cattle has lead to a reduction in the loss of cattle
due to sickness and death.
The average herd size in Tennessee is 15 head. The owner of
the cattle is generally a part time cattleman and most likely
receives the majority of his income from another occupation.
Consequently, most of the cattle have not received any kind of
vaccination program and are susceptible to viruses and bacteria.
